Hot Rod Bob, the infamous pop punk rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, is roaring back to life after a 20-year hiatus. Originally formed in the early ‘2000’s, Hot Rod Bob quickly earned a reputation for their live shows, blending pop punk energy with a gritty rebellious attitude that captured the spirit of their fan base. The band became a staple in the Tulsa music scene, playing packed shows at the Cain’s Ballroom, Edge Fest and other local venues, known for their no-frills, in-your-face sound, drawing influences from punk legends like The Ramones and Social Distortion.

Led by frontman Clay Layton whose melodies were impossible to ignore, Hot Rod Bob became known for tracks like “The Shadow” and “500 More” anthems that still echo with a raw, pop punk edge. Their music wasn’t just loud; it was an anthem for those who felt left behind or pushed aside.

The band disbanded in the mid 2010s, but their music lived on, influencing a new generation of punk rock kids in Oklahoma, who kept Hot Rod Bob’s name alive spinning their record and covering their tracks.

Now, two decades later, Hot Rod Bob is back with a renewed hunger for giving the fans what they have wanted for years. The band is ready to reignite the spark that made them legends in Tulsa’s music scene, combining their classic sound with a fresh edge. Their comeback shows promise to bring the same intensity, and attitude that their fans remember.

Hot Rod Bob isn’t just about reliving the glory days—they’re here to prove that the sound of the early 2000’s is ageless. With new material in the works and a fanbase eager to see them reclaim their place on the main stage, Hot Rod Bob is back to show that after 20 years is just the beginning of the next chapter.
